Christmas storms and sunshine

In this essay I am going to talk about the relationship of two compositors or editor of different newspapers including it’s families. Mr. Jenkins is in Tory paper and Mr. Hodgson is in Examiner, they lived in the same building, it’s relationship wasn’t good, were in constant war, bothering each other in aconstant competition. In this misbehavior were included it’s wifes, Mrs. Mary Hodgson and Mrs. Jenkins that also were includes in this constant war that were like “enemies”. The Jenkins family could not have a baby so they have cat and The Hogdsons could have a baby for me this could be one of the reasons of their bad convivence is because both of the families feel envy. In this story occur different situations that can show how they want to bother each other only there is like one or two actions that are good the rest are bad for example one day the cat of Mr. Hodgson and that was a catastrophy because as always bagan to fight, another was when the hodgsons baby was feeling bad because it was sick so little tom needed hot water but their parents did not have in that moment so they ask for help to The Jenkins but specially Mrs. Jenkins don’t wanted to help but then she decided to help little tom and she save him this it was a really good action and aother bad aspect or situation it was when Mry Hodgson wanted to treat bad the cat, she take the cat to the street and obviosly the animal wasn’t with anything and  The Jenkins realice what had happened and Mrs. Jenkins was really mad with Mary that she cannot do that to animals and finnaly Mary was very sorry about that of his bad acting . these are some of the bad and good actions between the two families. The best part of the story for me is at the end because they understand that it’s constant fight and war were not good and specially in that beautifull time of christmas when it suppose that it should not occur that type of behavior and they led their differences aside and began a better relationship. Talking about the author point of view of Elizabeth is that the best way of not having a bad relationship or fight with someone near to you is having frinds before christmas. Now I am going to talk about the values I think can be related to the story, I have two values one is good and other is bad are convivence and envy, envy because in the story it shows that the two families feel envy between then and this feeling only can bring bad things and situations, and convivence because at the end of the story it shows how the families understand that stop fighting is the best way of having a good communication and relationship with the society. Ending with this essay I think that the problem with the families and the people is all the bad feelings that they acquire by mistreating people or wanting to be better than anyone or wanting bad wishes to other people and for me the best answer or solution for this is being gratefull and satisfied for the things that we have acepting the opportunities that we have and also for the things that we don’t have, when we frecuently feel envy or mad  toward people the ones that get affected are ourselves because we will always suffer for the bad energies that are in our heart and in our mind.

The Lady of Shalott

In this essay I am going to talk about the relationship of this poem with the words patience and caring and tell why are related. In the lady of shalott for me these two words have relation. Patience because this lady in the whole time she passed enclosed in a tower of an island because a curse she had and becuse of that curse she was always weaving, also she had like a kind of magic of seeing things or people through the window and she could not stop weaving anytime, she had patience to continue in that tower making the same thing and the only way of breaking the curse was by seeing something or loving someone pure, the lady also had patience with all around him not the tower, things like nature, the way of imagine a person in the water or enjoying life, all things like that she could not make it, she through the window saw or imagine a man and she always was thinking in him, but the man does not knows that she exists but instead of that the woman loves him, that’s why this lady had a big big patience. Know talking about the relationship of caring in these poem, I think that yes because giving different examples, she cared about it’s “relation” with the men and she was thinking in his mind that he would love her or could significate something to him, she also cares of going out the tower to break the curse, any other person would give up or not care about that but the lady have hope of one day be free and enjoy and maybe go to another place, these are the reasons why I say that she really cares what she wanted to to then. Almost at the end of the poem I read that she could break the curse by watching something special and she wanted to be with the men but the men does not want him because he thought that the lady wasn’t beautifull, but when he realized the opposite it was very late, being at the river. My personal opinion of these words related to the poem is that this lady had much patience of wating to much time and expecting things that maybe will not happen and she was controlled by a curse that because of that when she was weaving most of the time she singed and thought about the men he supposely liked, for me in a moment of the poem she began to be like different because of the magic or “powers” of feeling things before seeing it. And when she finally could go through the river in order to change it’s life to be free of any curse and also to find the men she always care about, but at the end the patience of the lady die in the river and it was late for the men that does not take in count the patience and caring that she had of being with him.
